Powra develops and integrates SCADA and customised EMS solutions for renewable energy, BESS and grid-connected power projects. Our Powra SCADA Nexus2000 platform provides real-time monitoring, control, data acquisition and energy management across the full plant lifecycle.

The platform supports deployment on both Windows and Linux and integrates with inverters, PCS, OEM PPC controllers, protection systems and other field devices through standard industrial communication protocols.

Our solutions enable secure remote access, operational monitoring, coordinated plant control and optimised power dispatch. Designed with secure OT architecture and cybersecurity in mind, the platform is developed to align with applicable Australian SOCI requirements.

Powra provides integrated engineering and commissioning support for battery energy storage projects. Our services cover PCS integration, plant control interfaces, system communications, protection systems, MV/HV commissioning and grid connection support.

We coordinate key system components to support reliable operation, effective control and successful integration of BESS facilities with the wider power system.

Powra provides real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing for renewable energy, BESS and grid-connected power systems. Our RTDS-based test environment enables physical controllers, inverters and protection devices to be connected to real-time EMT simulations under controlled operating conditions.

RTDS HIL testing helps identify integration issues before commissioning, reduce project risks and improve the reliability of plant control and grid performance.

Powra provides R0, R1 and R2 modelling and grid compliance support for renewable energy, BESS and grid-connected power projects. Our services include PSCAD EMT modelling, PSS®E and PowerFactory RMS modelling, power system studies and Generator Performance Standards (GPS) support.

We support model development, validation and grid connection studies to help projects meet AEMO and network service provider requirements.

Powra provided system integration, PCS integration, medium-voltage (MV) and high-voltage (HV) commissioning, and grid connection support for the Wagerup BESS project.

Powra’s scope included the coordination and integration of key system components, including PCS and plant control interfaces, as well as technical support for MV/HV commissioning and grid connection activities. The work supported the successful implementation and reliable operation of the battery energy storage system.

Powra provided grid compliance modelling, system integration testing and commissioning support for the Wollar Solar Farm project.

Powra’s scope included power system model preparation and validation, integration testing of plant control and grid interface functions, and commissioning support. The work supported the project’s grid connection process and compliance with applicable AEMO and network service provider requirements.
